About Catalyst
Catalyst (catalystprep.app) is a CAT preparation platform for aspirants who already practise and want to know why their score is stuck. You sit 40 official CAT previous year papers from 1991–2025 in a simulator that matches the real exam, and Catalyst does the post-test analysis for you.
The mission: make post-test analysis easy
Most CAT preparation time goes into solving papers. The part that actually moves a score comes after: working out why the marks went. Done by hand, that means re-reading every question, tallying silly slips in a notebook and guessing which topics to drop. Most aspirants skip it.
Catalyst does that work for you. Submit a paper, tag why each question went the way it did, and the analysis is ready: what cost you marks, where your time went and what to change before the next test.

Built with aspirants' feedback
Catalyst is young and always changing. Features are added, reworked and sometimes removed based on what the people using it say. If something is confusing, missing or wrong, that is exactly the message worth sending.
Who builds it
Not to be confused with
Catalyst is an Indian platform for the CAT, the IIM MBA entrance exam, at catalystprep.app. It is not connected to Catalyst Prep LLC or other US test-prep companies with similar names, which prepare students for the SAT, ACT and GRE.
